NACIFIC (NATURAL PACIFIC)

My skin is a bit special. I am blessed with fair but sensitive skin. So easy to get blemishes, dry with big pores that easily to get clogged and as I get older and older my superficial vein is getting more and more apparent. It is so hard to find skin products that goes along with my skin, especially local products. Don't get me wrong, I would love if I could find local skin care brands that suit my skin. Because I have a policy to support local products than imported ones. Beside usually their prices are more friendly.
I used to love products from L'occitane, the shea butter products really soothe and moisten my skin without causing clogged pores and blemishes. However currently I am still in the race for entering residency program, therefore money is a bit tight. And the quality of their products really do come with a price. I need to find alternative products with a more friendly price. I've tried Wardah Aloe Vera gel and Cussons Sensicare for moisturizer with Melanox for Sunblock but they clogged my pores, none of them succeeded to moisturize my skin and blemished bloomed all over my face with some itchy sensation.
Luckily I came accross this Nacific ad in my Instagram account. This Korean brand intrigued me, since they claimed that their products are most from natural ingredients such as herb and really do justice with sensitive skin. Honestly I am not looking to get my skin any brighter than my original tone, I just wanna my skin to be healthy. Moisturized and blemished free. I can live with big pores, superficial veins and a bit of dark spots and scars. Sadly, Nacific has not yet open any official counter in Indonesia. And to gamble of buying the products online is not really a smart move for me. Remember, super sensitive skin and tight budget.
Alhamdulillah, then came the ad that stated that they will open their booths in Cosmobeaute fair in JCC aound 2 weeks ago. Even though I was in the middle of my residency enrollment exam sequences, I determined to make a quick visit to the fair because my skin was in desperate of attention too. I went with Transjakarta, got in the fair for free (yeaaayyy...!!!) and directly looking for Nacific booths. Luckily they were so easy to find, and the shopping assistant was a nice Korean girl that can speak understandable English, langguage barrier overcomed..!!
All the products were priced IDR 150K, except the Fresh Herb package for IDR 180K and some cotton toner for IDR 30K.
I bought 4 items :

2 30 ml Fresh Herb Toner
4 sachets of Fresh Herb Cream samples

I've been using the Serum and Toner. These are the review of Nacific Fresh Herb Serum and Toner :
I used to read review that said these series would bring a bit of stink sensation when you applied it on your skin. But my sensitive skin barely ever felt it. I've been using the Fresh Herb Toner in day time and Nacific Real Flower Calendula Toner at night before sleeping. Why? Because based on my own opinion that the Fresh Herb will give my skin some kind of freshness boost which is good for day time especially in the morning when usually my skin is at the best time. After toner, I've been using the Fresh Herb Serum plus Fresh Herb Origin Eye Cream Calendula, and if planned to go out afterward I applied Fresh Herb Origin Sun Block Calendula SPF 50+ PA++++.
As you can see there are two parts shown in the serum, the upper is the thick and I guess a more oily part. Therefore I shake the bottle first before taking the serum and I always try to have both parts taken. For me around 4-5 drops are enough.
In 2 weeks my skin is getting better, more moisturized without clogged pores and break out pimples and blemishes. The tone is getting better, healthier so I don't look older than I should be like before when my skin is dull, dry with blemishes and clogged pores. However I still need help to make the process of refining all of the dark spots from the pimples and my bad habit of liking to pop them up to get the comedos out. This is the main reason why I need skin products that won't causing my pores to clog, to reduce myself from picking my face that will lead to more dark spots and sometimes scars. In this case I used a local home peeling products that I will review later.
I haven't tried the Fresh Herb Cream, since I still have to wait my skin to be more settled from the breakouts and blemishes. Maybe in another week or two, I will start to try the cream at night as substitute of the serum. I will update my review after two weeks application.

Nacific Real Flower Calendula Toner Review:
I've been using this product at night after washing my face and before applying eye cream and serum. My skin usually at worst at the end of the day, therefore the soft and soothing sensation from this product really help. I have no issue with the smell.

Nacific Fresh Herb Origin Eye Cream Calendula Eye Cream Review :
I've been using this products at least 2 - 3 times a day. I love it, soft and it did good to the skin around my eyes whic before starting to age with dry and apparent fine wrinkle. Now it started to get fresh and moisturized again. I don't know if it is a bonus effect of this cream or because from the vaseline petroleum jelly application to my eyelashes before I curled them, I just relized that they are also healthier and thicker too.
Here after using around 2 weeks
Toner + Serum + Eye Cream + Sun Block
with Vaseline Petroleum Jelly as usual for my eyelashes before curling them and lipstick

Nacific Fresh Herb Origin Sun Block Calendula SPF 50+ PA++++ Review :
Feels soft, a bit oily but I can tolerate it especially if I spend most of my time inside air conditioner environment. More of transparent result rather than whitish result like most of high SPF Sun Block. I guess because they didn't include the physical sunblock ingredients that usually deflect the sun (zinc and titanium oxide). No issue for me. I like it better without applying powder afterward, but sometimes if I spend more time under the sun and I need to look neat like at work I have to finish it with powder.

Overall I spent total of IDR 630K for all of those which was a very good deal for me. Usually I spent that much for one product of L'occitane. And the result so far is still satisfying.
For Halal issue, I hope they don't contain any ingredient from animal. I've asked and tried to browsed before and I've read that the claim almost all of their products from herbs and natural ingredients. As for alcohol, as we can see from those I posted above they used cetearyl alcohol which if I am not mistaken is okay.
